Kia ora Everyone! Today I worked on my 12x tables. I used TimesTables.Co.NZ. Click the link to go to the site.  The site is pretty cool because before you do the test you can practice and that might help you out a lot. When you have done the test you might get a diploma but you need to get 24/24 on your test. Here are some screenshots of my 12x tables.

My next step is to try out something harder like maybe my division or higher times tables! 

Te Ara Takitini Waiata

Kia ora Everyone! A few weeks or days ago we as a senior hub created a new waiata that is about our new school name and our new class names and what they mean! I personally like the new waiata because it just sounds so beautiful when we sing it! And also we spent ages practicing it so we could perform it. Here are the lyrics for the waiata!

I hope you liked reading the lyrics it took the teachers awhile to figure out the lyrics and it took us ages to learn the song! I wish I remembered how to put a video off my drive onto this because then the video of us performing would be there for you but it will be in my next blog post for you guys.

Prodigy

Kia ora, Everyone! Welcome back to my blog. If you visited my blog last year then you will know who I am but for the people who don't know who I am here si a little bit of information about me. My name is Zoey. I go to Gilberthorpe School and I am a year six. My class name is Te Ropu Whakamanawa. The top class at Gilberthorpe School. Well enough talk about me.

For the last few weeks we have been using a new website called Prodigy. Prodigy is a math website where you are a wizard and you battle people and to cast a spell you have to answer math questions. Anyway here are some screenshots. Of answering questions and casting spells.

This is when I was answering the math questions. You go in grades so I am guessing I was about grade 4 or 5 because I know how hard grade 6 is so it is probably grade 4. (I suggest if you start prodigy start on grade1 if it asks what grade you are.)  

This is my little team that I created. And I created this team  by catching them because they were originally evil and wanted to defeat me and when I caught them they changed and also it costed me $500 to catch them so then you don't always get them because you might not have enough money and you also have to click at the right time to catch them. 

This is me fighting one of them and it is level 13 and I am level 47. This is the menu to use items or epic attacks or switch to one of you teamies or catch or last but not least attack with your spells!

And if you look closely underneath the level you are you will see a little picture with a circle around it and as you can see the animal I am fighting has a little sprout which means that it is a grass and I am a wizard! And you teamies will have special powers and one of my teamies is a snow and the other is a electric or shadow I can't remember!
